Baby Shower ~ Pink and white Card and Banner

Another Girl where my Daughter works is having a baby, this time a girl. Tiff asked for a banner and card in the appropriate pink and white. Since she new what the baby was to be named the banner has her name and is done with simple pink, gingham and flowers that can be used as long as she likes.

The card has the same color scheme

I made the card a trifold to give extra room for signatures as everyone in her department would be signing it. It is scored at 4 and 9.5. This gave me 4 inches on the left, a base of 5.5 and 2 inches on the right. I attached a 4.25 x 5 inch piece of pink pirouette to the outside of the 2 inch flap and a 4 x 5.25 inch piece of whisper white to the inside.

She wanted something else to go with the set. The last baby shower I made the robot card, banner, large hanging robot and cupcake picks. Another girl was getting cupcakes with decorations on top so no picks were needed but she did want another decoration. We came up with the idea of a hair clip flower arrangement. She got a variety of clips and headbands and we used floral wire and old olive cardstock to created stems to attache the clips to. We then made a baby tutu and wrapped it around the vase. For a little extra pizzaz.

A little more rearranging on the blog

Hello All,

Please be patient with me as I am doing a little rearranging on my blog. You should still be able to see everything just in different places. I am taking the photo heavy posts of events and vacations and making them into pages. You will see these listed in the side bar under photo albums. I have just started so only a few are there the rest are still posts and if you check the archived posts you can find them. I thought this would be an easier way for friends and family to find photos and those of you who are just here for the crafts will not have to scroll through all the pics. If you would like to check out the photos feel free, I was just trying to make everything flow a bit better. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by,

Happy Father's Day ~ Traveler

Hello All,

Hope you are having a great Father's Day. I created this card for my Father in law, and wanted to get some pictures of it before I sent it, but could not find my regular camera so I pulled out an old one that does not work as well. Sorry about the poor quality.

I combined some old and some new items. The Train and Globe are a new Stampin' Up set called  Traveler. I really like the historic feel of the images in this set. The greeting is from a retired sale-a-bration set that also has a historic feel (Feeling Sentimental). The Designer Paper is the Epic Day that just retired, it fit perfect with the image.

See You Soon
